Mr. Book just finished The Trump Contagion: How Incompetence, Dishonesty And Neglect Led To The Worst-Handled Crisis In American History, by Helio Fred Garcia.

This book was published in May 2024.

The author is the president of a crisis management company. The beginning of the book discusses handling crisis in general, before moving o specifically to COVID. The book does an outstanding job of showing how poorly Trump handled the crisis.

As the author pointed out, “Donald Trump’s incompetence, dishonesty, and neglect led not only to the single worst-handled crisis, but also to the single largest failure of leadership in American history.” But, since this country loves to honor incompetency, I have full trust in his ability to inflict some worse failure in the upcoming years.

I give this book an A.
